중고등부 (영어) 소개 Yuong Sang Youth Worshippers

YSY is the Youth Ministry at Yuong Sang Presbyterian Church. Our vision is 4-fold, as we strive to teach, model, serve and train young people to “Dare 4 Him” in all areas of their lives. Proverbs 3:5,6 is our ministry theme verse.

Our vision is for young people to(4 “G’s”):
Glorify God,
Gather in God’s Name,
Grow in God’s Grace, &
Go for God’s Kingdom.

YSY ministry core values are Grace-Centered, Worship-Driven, Accepting, Family-Oriented, Disciple-Making, Serving, Sharing, Authentic, and Fun.

As far as programs, activities, and events, they cannot be an “ends” to the ministry. As one author noted, “Programs don’t reach kids, people do.” Hence, programs, activities, and events must be a “means to an end.” Similarly, they must be used to foster and nurture relationships with others, which in turn will help students find their significance in a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus, and also help them nurture and grow in this relationship.
